A Study Of The Chinese Loanwords In Eastern Yugur Language

Loanwords is the crystallized product of cultural exchange,as well as the product of language contact.The communication of cultures between different ethnic groups must to regard language as a basic means of communication,When these cultural forms from one nation to another,it bound to trigger the activities of languages.Eastern Yugur language belong to Mongolian language family of Altaic family.It is the National language of Yugur nationality which is the Unique ethnic minorities in Gansu province.It surrounded by Sino-Tibetan languages in long-term and also influenced by Chinese deeply.In the process of long-term relationship between Yugur and Han nationality,Eastern Yugur language absorbed a large number of Chinese vocabulary which play an important role in daily life.The thesis regard the Chinese loanword as the object of study,and extract the Chinese loanword form Discriptions of Eastern Yugur language redacted by Bea Bernard Stu,Eastern Yugur language word and Eastern Yugur language discourse materials redacted by Pautsoru and Jia Larson,and combined with the practical investigation to analyze the types,the characteristics and the reason in Chinese loanwords of Eastern Yugur language,and also study the influence of Chinese loanwords.The full thesis structure is as follows:The first chapter is introduction,this part introduce the origin and significance of the thesis,the research status of Eastern Yugur language and the loanwords in Eastern Yugur language,the resource of linguistic datum and the method of study in this thesis.The second chapter introduce the general situation of human geography about Yugur nationality and the contents about phonetics and vocabularies in Eastern Yugur language.The third chapter describe the study of loanwords in academic circles,and based on it to confirm the defined standard of loanwords in the thesis.Meanwhile recommend the loanwords in Eastern Yugur language and introduce the process of contact between Yugur nationality and Han nationality.The fourth chapter through combining examples to classy the semantic and loaning ways of Chinese loanwords in Eastern Yugur language,and based on above analyses to conclude the characteristic of Chinese loaned in Eastern Yugur language.The fifth chapter analyze the reason of Chinese enter into Eastern Yugur language that include internal factors and external factors of language.The sixth chapter analyze the influence of Chinese entering the Eastern Yugur language combined with examples.The seventh part is conclusions.
