The Research Of Southeastern Guangxi Province Folk Taoist Lvshan Sect's Religious Characteristics Of "Confucianism, Buddhism, Taoism And Sorcery Mixed"

In Guangxi Hakka area widely circulated folk religion having a special form, namely Taoism Lv Shan Sect, is one of the major schools of southern China Taoism, popular in Chinese Fujian, Guangdong,Zhejiang,Jiangxi,Jiangsu,Hunan,Taiwan and Southeast Asia and other places overseas, Bobai Hakka is typical of the southeastern Guangxi Lv Shan Sect,comes from the ancient land of Fujian Lv Shan sorcery, In the torrent of history took the Buddhism and the Taoism into itself and tenaciously rooted in another land,and gradually developed a strong form, showing Confucianism, Buddhism,Taoism,Sorcery rolled into one religious characteristics.Moreover, the color of the Sorcery is the most strong.The author take the Lvshan Sect of southeastern Guangxi Hakka area as example to do field investigation, take the instruments and Taoist seals used in the Lvshan Sect as the center, with the vision of development, dialectical thinking and attitude of seeking truth from facts, analyse the religious characteristics of the Lvshan Sect which combines "Sorcery, Taoism,Confucianism, Buddhism".This thesis is based on the author tutor's research field, as well as the author's fieldwork experience. Hakka research has been more than 100 years of history, Chinese and foreign scholars in the study of Hakka folk beliefs have achieved fruitful results.Compared with the Taiwan Hakka Folk Belief Studies, scholars in the mainland of Hakka folk belief attention starting lately, research results are greater distance, as the Hakka big province of Guangxi, research on Hakka folk belief, far less than Fujian Province.Using the method of field investigation, material analysis, literature method and comparison. Taking Instruments and Seals as the Core, analysis the characteristics of the religious.The folk belief has been playing an important role in people's spiritual space, and it is the display of the people's universal view of the world.Guangxi Hakka Lv Shan Sect foundate the Han Chinese majority of normal life,such as birth,aging,sickness,death, disaster,etc.all could be solved through Lvshan ceremony.The innovation of the thesis topic hope to fill the shortage of Guangxi folk Taoist LvShan sect research and fieldwork to update material of Guangxi LvShan sect.By the interpretation and comparative study of southeastern Guangxi Hakka people concentrated area of Lvshan sect,such as the typical seals,to investigate the characteristics of the folk religion.The author's difficulty lies in the collection and analysis of materials.Purpose and significance of the article is deeper understanding of the history of the Hakka community and the Han Chinese society, inheritance and development changes.Taking Instruments and Seals as the research breakthrough point.Not only make up the vacancy of the existing research of this kind, but also can improve the study of Guangxi Taoism.and beneficial to the government to more clearly grasp the function and role of folk religion, to maintain social stability, to grasp the construction and development of a harmonious society in Guangxi.This paper is divided into eight parts. The first chapter is the introduction part, explains the reasons for choosing the topic, research object and research significance, and related research situation.For the current academic study of LvShan Sect is not very rich, especially the study of the Hakka Region Lu Shan teach even scarcer.the second part analyse the Lvshan Sect history and communication:Guangxi Lv Shan Sect,comes from the ancient land of Fujian Lv Shan sorcery,The prototype revealed in popular folk beliefs of Fujian people,Then look for shelter in the institutionalized religion, continuous improvement,Eventually formed during the Tang and song dynasties.the third part analyse and interpret these religious instruments used by Lvshan Sect,such as the bell knife,the dragon horn,the whip looks like snake,the seven stars sword,etc.the fourth part analyse how instruments used in the rituals of Lvshan Sect,to further deepen our understanding on religious way of thinking of the Lvshan Sect. the fifth part focuses on the analysis of the interpretation of the seals,Selecting five typical seals to analysis,The author think the relationship between Lvshan Sect and Taoism is reference, not inheritance.the sixth part analyse how these seals used in the rituals of Lvshan Sect; the seventh part summarizes religious characteristics and causes of the Lvshan Sect,Think of Lvshan Sect in the long-term develop a formation of Confucianism,Buddhism,Taoism, Sorcery that four religions united,The possibility of the formation of the religious characteristics,is Sorcery,Taoism,Confucianism, Buddhism have more cross-zone in the implications.Necessity is the gradual increase of people's religious needs and spiritual pursuit,is also the root cause.chapter eight is the conclusion part which summarizes the Lvshan Sect practical significance and value of "model".Study on the Lvshan Sect helps to understand how to maintain the normal operation of social morality, to further understand the Confucian society,also the study of folk religious needs and the best entrance to the public psychology.The deficiency of this paper lies in the fact that the data collected in the field is not comprehensive and accurate,especially in comparative analysis is not well enough,and the theoretical analysis is still lack of depth.Need to further improve the collection of related field materials,and strengthen the comparative analysis research, strengthen the theoretical depth of the article.
