German and Chinese belong to different language system; there are significant differences between the two. Overall, words' order in German is more liberal than thatin Chinese. After data analysis, we can see that for students in the German-speaking area the order of Chinese adverbial is hardest to learn. Based on this phenomenon, this article, from the perspective of interlanguage contrast, focuses on the similarities and differences of adverbial words' order in Chinese and German,combined with relevant corpus, put forward some corresponding suggestions for teaching Chinese as a second language.The introduction part is devoted to the reasons and purpose for the subject,previous studies, other research ideas etc.. The next three chapters are mainly aboutadverbial analysis and comparative analysis of adverbial order in German and Chinese, from two angles of single and multiple adverbial. As for the order of adverbial in Chinese and German, by contrast, there are both similarities and differences. From monoadverbial position point of view, the main difference between the two is in the relative position of adverbial and predicate. German adverbial can be placed behind the predicate, while Chinese adverbial can not. From the angle of multiadverbial order, the similarities are reflected in some way, for instance, the relative position of adverbial of time and place. The last chapter is about the analysis of word order errors and teaching suggestins.
