The Analysis Of Adverbial Placement Acquisition For Russian Learners Of Chinese Language

Nowadays Chinese language becomes more and more important all over the world,that's why more and more students learn Chinese language in Russia.There are a lot of problems in teaching and studying process,which we need to pay attention to,because solving these problems is important for improving the education system.Grammar has an important place in teaching Chinese.Word order belongs to basic grammar structures;it is a very important part of grammar.Adverbials are one of the most important grammar components in modern Chinese and one of the difficulties in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.Adverbials are also a common grammar component found in the Russian language.Though present in the both,word order in Russian is free while the word order in Chinese is unalterable.Because of this difference and further influence from one's mother language,Russian students may make errors in Chinese word order,notably,the adverbial position.This paper focuses on Russian student errors in the use of adverbial position in word order between the two languages.The research results will help us better find reasons for the errors.This research is based on the materials from Sholem Aleichem Amur State University.The author used two resources in the research:a questionnaire and a set of materials including compositions and exercise papers of Russian students,who prepare for the HSK 5.These two resources complement each other and help the author to make a deep analysis of student's errors.The biggest error's reasons are:mother language and target language negative transfer.Other than that,the incorrect learning and communication strategy as well as studying environment influence may cause the errors.After the reasons for grammatical errors are found and explained,the author gives advices about grammar teaching and teaching materials.The author accentuates the importance of grammar exercises planning,Chinese-Russian languages comparison and grammar teaching importance,discuses correcting errors methods.The author provides two additions to the paper.The first addition is a brief tutorial,where all the basic grammatical rules of Chinese adverbials are explained and examples for better understanding are given.The second addition is a textbook with a collection of different exercises that may be useful for students who want to improve the quality of their knowledge in this field.The author was using these two additions during the internship and found out that these additions helped to decrease the amount of students errors.This paper will be also useful for Chinese students that study Russian language.In comparing Russian and Chinese adverbial positions they can see the peculiarities of Russian grammatical style.
