Similar Lyricism Of The Novels In The 1980s

Lyricism which is applied in literary text is for expressing one's emotion and life experience. This artistic technique is more common in poetry. With the effect of new ideas, most writers represented by Yu Dafu began to try to write novels with the use of lyricism since the New Culture Movement. This kind of novel display strong feelings and relatively slim plot frequently and is called lyrical novel or poeticized fiction by scholars. With the change of social and political environment, the novel of 1980 s present lyrical characteristics and style in many ways after the Cultural Revolution.So I use “Similar Lyric Novel” to summarize the overall characteristics of the novels in the 1980 s and make a preliminary argument.From external conditions of literature, this paper analyzes the background of “Similar Lyric Novel” in the 1980 s. On the one hand,continuous development of ideological trends considerably affects the development of the novel trend in the 1980 s. On the other hand, the authors' passion has been fully reflected in the texts. At the same time, with the looseness of policy, the acceleration of thought communication, the advancement of our country modernization and some other reasons, the transformation of schools and the themes selection of the novels in the 1980 s display urgent emotion conversion just as lyric.From the angle of literature itself, I analyze the concrete embodiment of “Similar Lyric Novel” in the 1980 s from severalaspects(such as the major theme of the novel?main image?language?style and so o) along with specific writers and texts.At last, emotion expressing in the novels fall into a decline and then disappear as the end of New Enlightenment Movement. I roughly analyze the reason for the gradual weakening of lyric quality in the novels and the trend of novels from three perspectives: the end of enlightenment discourses?the development of market economy and the influence of postmodernism.
