The Application Research On Emptiness And Reality Of Chinese Contemporary Art

"Emptiness and reality" is an important category of Chinese traditional aesthetic consciousness. Its aesthetic ideology involves in artistic thinking, artistic creation, art criticism and other fields. Chinese contemporary art and art theory still can learn from the "emptiness and reality" from its connotation and vitality. It also helps to carry forward the traditional aesthetic thought in contemporary art practice, promote the national culture value in contemporary art. In this thesis, traditional "emptiness and reality" thought is elaborated in contemporary art practice, aimed at the formation of the artistic creation style of national culture based on the combination of Chinese traditional aesthetic consciousness with contemporary art practice. It is a specific direction of development of Chinese contemporary art and it also effectively inherits and carries forward the traditional aesthetic thought. This thesis first discusses the formation of "emptiness and reality" theory and its patterns in traditional art. The author also concludes the concept of the "emptiness" and "reality" in two perspectives of the aesthetic subject and aesthetic object. Secondly, combined with art works, the performance of "emptiness and reality" thought is analyzed in contemporary graphic design, contemporary art of building, contemporary sculpture art. According to the common characteristics of the utilization of "emptiness and reality" in Chinese contemporary art, general rules is concluded from the aspects of form, content, connotation. Thirdly, the research of "emptiness and reality" thoughtenlightens the development of Chinese contemporary art, and its practical significance towards the improvement of national culture in contemporary society and better development of contemporary art cannot be ignored. The combination of theoretical research and analysis of works is applied in this thesis. The author elaborates the specific embodiment of "emptiness and reality "on the basis of typical art works, and tries to combine the theoretical analysis with the empirical research.
