Reseach On The Relationship Between Child Abuse,psychological Resilience,Coping Style And Social Adaptation

The society cannot develop without children. Children as part of the disadvantaged groups and key period in one's personal development need concern from all the members of the community. Thus, the study discusses relationship between the child abuse, the psychological resilience, the ways of Coping and the social adaptation, and will be of great importance in reducing the phenomenon of child abuse and improving the psychological resilience, the ways of Coping and the social adaptation of children. This research collects the relevant data of the child abuse, the psychological resilience, the ways of Coping and the social adaptation,adopting the questionnaire survey method, selecting 1152 children aged from eight to fourteen in a middle school and a primary school of Xingan League Inner Mongolia as subjects, using four research tools: The child abuse questionnaire, Resilience scale for teen-agers, Simplified coping style questionnaire, and Primary school life adaptation questionnaire. Statistical analysis of the test results performed using SPSS17.0 data and the results found:1. The occurrence rate of childhood maltreatment experiences in Surveyed area make up 17.4%, which is the highest, then top to bottom is emotional neglect 8.6%, sexual abuse7.3%, physical abuse6.4%, and emotional abuse 1.6%.2. The total score of child abuse and the dimension of sexual abuse exists significant differences between different genders and whether the one-child.3. The total score of child abuse and the each dimension exists different degrees of difference between the family address, the economic level of family and the job of parents.4. The child abuse, the psychological resilience, the coping style and the social adaptation have significant correlations with the each dimension.5. Child abuse, psychological resilience, and coping style can predict social adaptation. The child abuse can predict psychological resilience and coping style.6. The psychological resilience, respond actively and negative coping take partial intermediary role between child abuse and social adaptation.
