Reseach On The Relationship Between Child Abuse,psychological Resilience,coping Style And Mental Health

Childhood is a critical period of physiological, psychological development of a person, but also physical fragile, vulnerable period, due to various reasons, the phenomenon of child abuse and neglect are prevalent in the family, which affects the Children's psychological health.Children's psychological resilience level and taking what coping style are directly related to the mental health status of children.So the research of child abuse, psychological resilience, coping style and the relationship with the mental health, it has important significance to the psychological education of children.This research collects the relevant data of the child abuse, the psychological resilience, the ways of Coping and the mental heath,adopting the questionnaire survey method, selecting 392 children aged from seven to fourteen in a middle school and a primary school of Enshi city as subjects, using four research tools: The child abuse questionnaire, Resilience scale for teen-agers, Simplified coping style questionnaire, and mental health questionnaire. Statistical analysis of the test results performed using SPSS17.0 The main findings are as follows:1.About the occurrence rate of childhood abuse experiences, physical abuse in Surveyed area make up 13.5%, which is the highest, then top to bottom are emotional neglect 9.9%,physical abuse5.6%, sexual abuse5.3%,and emotional abuse 1.2%.2.The total score of child abuse and the dimension of physical abuse and emotional neglect exists significant differences between different genders, which boys higher than girls,no statistically significant differences in other dimensions.3.The total score of child abuse and the dimension of emotional neglect exists significant differences between whether the one-child, which not only children higher than the only children.4.The total score of child abuse and the each dimension exists significant difference between family address.To LSD multiple comparison later found its differences in each dimension(physical abuse,physical neglect,emotional neglect)score is always the rural higher than that of villages and towns,the villages and towns above cities,rural above the city.5.The total score of child abuse and the each dimension exists different degrees of difference between the economic level of family.On the dimension of emotional abuse and neglect dimensions,all show the family economic level is not too like good children more vulnerable to abuse.6.The total score of child abuse and the each dimension exists different degrees of difference between the Education level of parents, which parents' education levels for primary and junior high school children are more vulnerable to abuse.7.The total score of child abuse and the each dimension shows very significant negative correlation with positivecoping and psychological resilience. The total score of child abuse and the each dimension shows very significant positive correlation with negative coping and Mental health.8. The total score of psychological resilience and the each dimension, Mental health, and negative coping shows significant negative correlation, while shows significant positive correlation with positive coping.9. On the whole,the total score of Mental health shows significant positive correlation with negative coping, and shows significant negative correlation with positive coping.10. Child abuse, psychological resilience, and coping style can predict Mental health.11.The negative coping style takes partial intermediary role between the child abuse and Mental health.Psychological resilience takes completely intermediary role between the child abuse and Mental health.
