The Research On Bronze Collection Of Zhou Dynasty In Jiaodong Region

Jiaodong region is an important part of Shandong province, which has independent cultural origin and has its own particularity. As one of the most important reference factors of civilization origin, bronze is crucial for the research. Through archaeological excavation, numerous bronzes are found in Jiaodong region, which show that the manufacturing of bronze began early and developed rapidly in this area.In the upper part of this paper is mainly focus on collecting and researching of the published bronze in Jiaodong region in Zhou Dynasty, according to several aspects such as the Bronze age, source, collection, size, form and ornamentation, inscriptions,inscriptions' s meaning etc in different shapes, which would provide convenience for later study of bronze in Jiaodong region in Zhou Dynasty.Based on the previous periodization and dating studies, part two is mainly about the stage division of bronzes, which have disagreements, and form analysis. Then, to separate the bronzes, collected from Jiaodong region of Zhou dynasty, into Western Zhou Dynasty,the Spring and Autumn and Warring states. Each of the them is divided into early, middle and late period. Then we can get its evolution rule by using form analysis.
