Dai Jinhua's feminist criticism simultaneously involving three fields—female writer criticism, film criticism and cultural studies, and they share the same theoretical resources—the psychoanalysis theory from Freud to Lacan. For a long time, researchers saw Dai Jinhua's study fields as three isolated parts, or just describe the change among them, however, three fields is not linear but an integrated critical practice that heading to develop a new unbiased cultural order in cross and complementary.In the context of psychoanalysis, this thesis studies the multiple areas of Dai Jinhua's criticism as an organic entirety, and examines her multi-level criticism strategy by focus on the critical methods of applying feminist criticism to literary text, film text and the social cultural phenomenon and so on. For example, decentred subject study, father-son fable,and gender/cultural rhetoric criticism. Dai Jinhua's feminist criticism based on Chinese cultural and historical tradition to challenge western theory, meanwhile, expand its gender-oriented method to the critical of Chinese literary and cultural phenomena. Dai Jinhua's interdisciplinary psychoanalytical feminism criticism not only participate but promote the ongoing women cultural revolution as well, it gives enlightenment on contemporary feminist criticism of China and the future of global post-modern culture at the same time.
