The sentence pattern "ba" is a frequent grammar structure and it is also the emphasis and difficulty in teaching Chinese as a second language. This paper expounds on the ontology, application,and teaching results of "ba". For example,to study the acquisition condition of the students in Bulacan State University within the Philippines of "ba",the paper will sum up the types of errors and then analyze the reasons for these errors. Ontology research provides a strong theoretical basis for teaching and the results of acquisition research have important references to teaching practice. Finally,the task-based teaching method as the theoretical basis to sum up the effective teaching methods and at the same time,use the detailed teaching process of these two classes. In this paper,to improve the quality of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,the research results have very important theoretical value and practical significance.
