“Shi……de” is a common sentence pattern in Chinese, which has the functions of expressing empathy and expressing a mood.Chinese scholars have studied the classification, diachronic evolution, part of speech, and ellipsis of shi,but no unified conclusion has been reached yet.At the same time,“shi……de” is also one of the sentence patterns that foreign students are most likely to make errors when learning Chinese. No matter in HSK Dynamic Writing Corpus or Global Chinese Interlanguage Corpus,“Shi……de” ranks top in the number of errors in special sentence patterns. Therefore, this sentence pattern has also attracted extensive attention in the second language field. However, the second language field pays more attention to the errors and teaching of sentences, analyzes the types and causes of errors, and puts forward teaching suggestions, but pays less attention to the acquisition order of this sentence pattern. Also, there are still some problems in the study of second language acquisition of “shi……de”,such as the lack of comparative studies among Chinese learners from different countries, and the fact that the corpus comes from a single source and does not pay attention to the oral corpus.Given the above research background, this thesis takes the“shi……de” as the research object and, based on the collection of the corpus, researches the ontology of this sentence pattern and the second language acquisition. In terms of ontology research, given the inconsistent opinions on the classification of “shi……de” at present, this thesis collected and sorted out 2798 “shi……de” corpus from the BCC corpus, and on this basis, the “ shi……de” were divided into two categories,a total of 10 suppositional sentence patterns. The first category is“shi……de”(?),which indicates emphasis, and there are three suppositional modes. The second category is“shi……de”(?),which indicates mood, and there are seven suppositional modes. The fourth chapter is the study of sentence errors of Thai and English native speakers.Based on the collection of written and spoken language data, this chapter classifies errors including omission error, overrepresentation error,ill-ordering,and mistake addition, and finds that Thai and English native speakers are most likely to make omission errors.Furthermore, this thesis compares the errors of Thai and English native speakers from error types and the two types of sentence types and 10 suppositional sentence patterns. It also analyzes the reasons for the errors, including the complexity of the sentence of the target language rule generalization, and the factors of teachers' teaching materials.Chapter five is a study of the“shi……de” sentence acquisition order of Thai and English native speakers. The acquisition order of Thai native speakers and English native speakers was obtained by using the accuracy method and the implication scale.Combined with the method of statistical test, the correlation test is carried out for the two acquisition orders, and finally, the final acquisition order is obtained by weighting.Besides,a comparison of sentence acquisition order between Thai and English native speakers reveals that there are both consistency and differences in the order of acquisition. The sixth chapter summarizes the whole thesis.
