The Statistical Analysis Of The Pit Tombs In The Second Period Of Jiangzhai

In 1972 the excavation of Jiangzhaisite in the middle-lower area of the Yellow River is an important Neolithip settlement site. It provides rich materials for the research of Neolithic Yangshao culture. Be the important relics of Shijia type of Yangshao culture, Jiangzhai has always been the focus of scholarsresearch.In this paper, the analysis objects are the 189 pit tombs in the second period of Jiangzhai. By using the traditional archaeological methods and statistical method of natural science research, the paper discuss the six factors of the tombs:the direction of the tombs, the size of the tombs, the amount of the burial human bones in the tombs, the ages and gender of human bones, the objects buried in the tombs, the burial times, and analyze the relationship between the six factors. Through the statistical analysis, regular phenomena are found and the analysis of these phenomena are discussed. The second period of Jiangzhai tombs of burying the bones of men was more than women. The gender ratio was 1.66, belongs to the height anomaly, that two men and women of Jiangzhai than the existence of height anomaly is likely to be the result of choice, but this choice is likely to be the first female infanticide and young female production caused by the high death rate. The mortality of middle-aged men and women is high, which accounts for 54% of the middle age men, which may be caused by the bad condition of the natural environment and the causes of the war. A different number of burial tombs, burial tomb in between 7 to 9 of the tombs is more, it implies that the social structure may be a majority of 7 to 10 families.
