A Domestic Research On The End Of Literature Theory

The End of Literature Theory,which developed from Hegel's The End of Art Theory, has become a latest theoretical proposition in China since the early twenty-first century.The domestic research in the "end" of literature falls into two major clues:first of all, to discuss the truth of J.Hillis Miller's articles on The End of Literature, then to explore some propositions which relate to this theory, such as the relationship between image and literature; the expansion of literariness; the death of the author and the aestheticism of daily life. The End of Literature is such a diversified theory that you can find the roots of many theoretical propositions in it. Judging from the current situation of Chinese literature theory, the theory study on the "end" of literature has already made certain achievements; nevertheless, a more comprehensive combing to this question is still needed. Therefore, this thesis will carry on discussion and explanation to The End of Literature, and think about the development of literary theory for further study.
