The Thematic Study Of The Vocabulary Among “GuZhangJueChen”

“Guzhangjuechen” is a collection of vernacular novels written by Jinmu Sanren in Ming Dynasty.The book contains a large number of vocabulary of Ming Dynasty and many dialects with local characteristics,with a high degree of colloquialism,providing a rich corpus for the study of modern Chinese vocabulary.This dissertation will exhaustively investigate the economic,educational and legal terms in the statistics of “Guzhangjuechen” and use the method of descriptive linguistics to define them.Then each category will be classified according to the lexical aggregation system theory and sub-semantic fields will be set up.Indicate the number of occurrences in the book in the upper right corner of each word by using word frequency statistical analysis method.According to specific context,study the meaning of words carefully and analyze the structural characteristics and special use of each word by combining cognitive linguistics with cultural linguistics.The author tries to make a comparison between the words of “Guzhangjuechen” and the “Chinese Dictionary”,and points out the shortcomings of the dictionary in terms of entry,interpretation of words,list of documentary evidence and other aspects,hoping to provide some supplementary materials for compiling and revising the dictionary.The dissertation is divided into six chapters.The first chapter is introduction,introducing the edition,research status and research significance of “Guzhangjuechen”,elaborating research status of economic,educational and legal vocabulary,and paying attention to the illustration of theoretical basis and research methods.The second,third and fourth chapters are economic,educational and legal terms respectively.The contents of each chapter are in accordance with the definition and classification of vocabulary,structural analysis,usage analysis and vocabulary characteristics.The fifth chapter is the compilation of “Guzhangjuechen” and “Chinese Dictionary”,complementing from the entries not received,meaning incomplete,the documentary evidence lag and lack of documentary evidence and other aspects of the “Chinese Dictionary”.The sixth chapter is the conclusion.Although the literary and artistic value of “Guzhangjuechen” is not high,it is of great value in the aspects of rich vocabulary,especially for providing earlier illustration and supplementary documentary evidence for “Chinese Dictionary”.By studying the vocabulary in “Guzhangjuechen”,we can get a better understanding of the vocabulary of the Ming Dynasty,which can promote the development of vocabulary research in modern China and to a certain extent is conducive to the systematization of history of Chinese language subject.
