Notes On The Words Of HeLinYuLu

HeLinYuLu(鹤林玉露) is a note book of broken news in history,written by Luo Dajing in Song Dynasty.It includes society politics,historical anecdotes,bits of news, notes on poets and poetry,book reviews,etc.and there is much discusses,less records narrates about them.Until now,people have already paid less attention to the discussion from the standpoint of language,not to mention the research on the special study of language of HeLinYuLu.This thesis attempts to make a preliminary research from the standpoint of language.The thesis consists of four chapters.In the first chapter,we briefly provide some information about the book,the author of the book,edition,research achievement and language value in the past.The second chapter,it has carried on the concrete textual research and explication about the 19 words which have not been included in Chinese Big Dictionary(汉语大词典) and which have not been explained by other people.In the third chapter,It proves the value of HeLinYuLu that a large number of words which at first are quoted by Chinese Big Dictionary appears in HeLinYuLu.The last chapter poceeds with the HeLinYuLu's phrases,inspect some of the Chinese Big Dictionary's problems,such as late proofs,not-exploring the handing down proofs,proofs spanning too large,to contribute to Chinese Big Dictionary's editing and revising.
