In the age of globalization, English as a global language has drawn a wide attention in the field of vocational education. The transition of English curriculum between Secondary Vocational Schools and Vocational Colleges has become a new issue nationwide. We know, English teaching in Secondary Vocational Schools is the precondition of that in Higher Vocational Colleges, while English teaching in Higher Vocational Colleges is the further in-depth development of that in Secondary Vocational Schools. The transition of English teaching between these two stages not only concerns the quality of English teaching in Vocational Education and the development of "streamline" English teaching in China, but also affect the transition of Secondary and Higher Vocational Education as a whole, and even the construction of an "overpass of lifelong education".The problems are mainly manifested in the backward teaching ideas; curriculum standards convergence, can not reflect the level; repetition of teaching content or disjointed, lack of coherence; teaching method is monotonous, failed to stimulate interest in learning. Based on the understanding and thinking on these issues, the author launches the research through the questionnaire survey, classroom observations, interviews, surveys and other methods, try to find out reasons and put forward the ways of solving. The author thinks that in order to deal with this problem, we should start from the following aspects:change ideas to create a good learning environment; revise curriculum standards to reach the cohesion of curriculum standard; integrate the teaching material to make content coherent; improve the method of teaching to arouse students'interests in learning.
