Study About The Domestic Distribution And Transmission Lines Of Yue Kiln Porcelains In Tang And Wudai Dynasties

Tang and Wudai dynasty was an important period in the development of Yue kiln Which was spread both inside and outside China in this period.At present,researches about Yue kiln porcelains outside spreading are more thorough than the researches about inside spreading.In this paper,the subject of my research is Yue kiln porcelains which unearthed in China.The domestic distribution and spread lines of Yue kiln porcelains in Tang and Wudai dynasty will be studied through organizing and analyzing the archaeological materials..Typology and statistics methods were used to study the archaeological materials in this paper.By studying Yue kiln porcelains shape and decorations,in Tang and Wudai dynasty,there are distinct characteristics of Yue kiln porcelains spatial and temporal distributions.Which can be divided into three areas from south to north:Area surrounding the Yue kiln,area between east capital and west capital,area near the Wudai dynasty and Liao dynasty's boundary.From the south area to the north area,Yue kiln porcelains appeared later,porcelains types and numbers became less,and the functions gradually became single.By literature and comparative analysis,summarized the transmission power,lines,backgrounds,and characteristic about Yue kiln porcelains in Tang and Wudai dynasties.There were two transmission lines,Tang line end in Chang'an,and Wudai end in Luoyang and Shangjing.Using the arterial traffic to transport Yue kiln porcelains around China.In the process of Yue kiln porcelains spreading,they became more and more famous,on the other hand,the scope of the circulation became smaller and smaller.which lead to the imbalance between supply and demand,i.e.supply was far less than demand.In these circumstances,the northern kilns began to learn from Yue kilns,including porcelains products and the craftsmanship.As a result,the northern kilns entered into the second developing peak,and then formed a green glaze aesthetic taste in society.And then they became a powerful competitor of Yue kilns in the north market.At the same time,Yue kilns started to decline,both in the product quality and craftsmanship.Finally,Yue kilns lost the north market,and even lost the center position of celadon production in the country.
