After the introduction of anthropology,how to use this new perspective to research Chinese history issues becomes a hot topic among Chinese anthropologists.Anthropology focus on the research of “other culture”,this kind of culture caused by geographic space limited the research on the topic of historical dimension.Researcher Fang Lili put forward that time may also be a cause for cultural barrier and estrangement,she enlarges the concept of “other culture” to time dimension,which create a possible for anthropology intervention historical issues.China is not only the country that has the yellow and agricultural civilization,but also has the blue and ocean civilization.During the Tang and Wudai dynasties period,the history of the world started entering into the initial phase of globalization,more and more interaction became frequency in politics,economy,culture,art and many other aspects between countries.And the ceramic trade stands for the firs peak in the cultural communication of Tang Dynasty and other countries.Through the silk road of sea,the culture of Tang Dynasty came into the India ocean,then arrived at East Asia,South Asia,West Asia,North Africa,East Africa and other places,and had culture interactions with these regions.In the perspective of anthropology of art,this paper takes Changsha kiln as the research subject in Tang Dynasty to study the history of ceramics in this period.Realized from the perspective in anthropology of art,the cultural factors that ceramics carried and the large cultural context that it reflected are much more important than the people's daily necessities.In this paper,the author takes ceramics as a handicraft,place it in its cultural and social context with the view of holistic and global perspective,uses “thick description” trying to discovery ceramic art production,circulation and acceptance of the whole ecological process.Further more,the author wants to explore the cross-cultural communication reflected by the ceramic art to get a complete picture of the ceramic export in Tang and Wudai dynasties period,reveal the first peak of blue civilization in China.
