In the context of the continuous improvement of the market economy in the 1990s,the "Shanghai nostalgia" in the Shanghai literature city has gradually mastered the right to speak,which,to a certain extent,obscures the true urban landscape of Shanghai.At the beginning of the new century,the Shanghai Literature magazine opened a new section in July 2000-City Map intended to show the living conditions of the underlying Shanghai and ordinary civilians,to express the real urban experience,and to promote the diversity of literary writing read.Although the column lasted only three years,published a total of 30 works,but its far-reaching,gave birth to two important novels on Shanghai.City Map column editor Jin Yucheng published the novel Flowers,and won the Mao Dun Literature Award;Cheng Xiaoying,published the novel Female Worker,showing the Shanghai workers and their city life picture.This article through the retrospective City Map section before and after the establishment of the background,to reproduce the column from the establishment to the abolition of the process.Trying to probe the intrinsic link between City Map section and the two novels.,by studying relevant historical resources.And ultimately hope to prove that the City Map column played an important role in the impact of the Shanghai city narrative trend,in the development of Shanghai literature narrative development.process:the column has had.a.beneficial effect.on the.realities of the urban culture of Shanghai's multiculturalism,and has promoted the diversification of relevant literary writing and reading.
