Urban space is the basic paradigm of modern life experience, not only reflects the living state ofthe ordinary people, but also determines the literary spirit, constitute the life connotation of literature within. Shanghai of 1930 time is a completely different space boundary from other traditional areas full of charm China, filled with prosperity and material consumption, with the most westernized life style and landscape architecture, in which people live from the feelings of urban spatial novelty and pleasure, and bear the pleasure suddenly to feel lost and helpless anxiety. Time and space in this space extremely fission and recombination, political space, economic space and culture space constantly concussion, establish the subversion of the traditional space consciousness and modern consciousness of space and let the writers in a casual, short, splitting and rheology of spatial experience, only this time, how to call out deeper the human heart the spirit of space meaning from the city space of Chinese narrative literature, perhaps this is discussed more space in the form of Shanghai school literature implies the problem.This article aims to study the narrative of foreign literature space in Joseph Frank, E l and Gaston Basra Zuo Lun as the theory background, theory from the three levels of E l elvaxtopography, temporal and spatial analysis of body text, derived from the Shanghai s chool literature city space in the narration of "physical space", "social space" and "text sp ace".
