Framing effect was originally developed and proposed by Kahneman and Tversky(1981).with the "Asian disease problem", They used experiments to confirmed the existence of framing effect. They found that when individuals making decisions,Their risk appetite may be reversed because of the different descriptions. This phenomenon can not be explained by classical rational decision c theory. Than framing effect has been the new focus of research for risk decision theory and practical applications just after it was proposed. Framing effect is a kind of irrational bias, that contrary to the principle of invariance, framing effects were found in many areas and practical background, including sports scene. Players when making risk decisions also affected by framing effects. Generally, sport scene is highly competitive, the conversion of offense and defense is very fast, and the time is not enough the results are unpredictable.Basketball not only has the above characteristics, but also very popular. Therefore, this study choose basketball as the research background of framing effect. In basketball, the scenario converted frequently, athletes need to collect and analysis information in a short time and then make a decision. However,In addition to the players need to make various sport decisions, coaches will make decisions directly to the game, and the players too. Therefore, on the basis of relevant research,in this study, experiment and questionnaire were used, and creat a scenarios to achieve basketball coaches and players into the role.In this study, not only verified whether the athletes and coaches will be affected by framing effects, but also explore whether the instruction of a basketball coach may interfere the risk decision-making preferences of basketball players. The results show that:(1)Basketball coachs are not affected by framing effects(2)Basketball players are significantly affected by framing effects.(3)Athletes in different instructions by the coach, still affected by framing effects. But when an athlete followed the conservative tactics by coach in the negative framework showed no obvious risk seeking. The results show that the influence by framing effect are different between basketballcoaches and athletes. The reason for this difference may be due to coach put more cognitive resources into the game, thus less affected by the frame effect.
