As the country's economic prosperity, the people's demand for art is also more and more strong, carving technology is also becoming more and more market prospects. The traditional manual engraving is more and more difficult to meet the needs of modern industrial production in the production efficiency and precision. Therefore, in recent years mechanical profiling carving processing technology is carved into the industry to the enormous role, especially patterns and text carving ability accelerates the pace of development of mold industry, for the carving art of this technology is widely used in the field of industrial laid a solid foundation. However, the mechanical profiling carving processing object is still very limited. Study on mechanical profiling carving has strong practical significance.Virtual reality technology has been developed rapidly in recent years, with its ability to reproduce the three-dimensional features of objects. In this paper, the Chinese character as the main object of calligraphy, the VRML virtual reality technology applied to the CNC engraving technology, the realization of the CNC engraving machine system, the engraving machine system can be based on 2D images of CNC engraving.According to the characteristic of the edge contour of the digital image processing, the method of image edge detection is proposed, and the specific detection algorithm is presented. After inputting Chinese character image information, the system can complete the functions of image vector, tool path generation and motion simulation.
