Different personality people to socialize and to participate in social activities in the school performance are totally different, and to participate in social activities is the basic and universal human needs. Research shows that the extravert will impact on individual's physical and mental health, as an important part of extravert personality traits can predict social anxiety. Make you different from other people, from individual stable behavior and internal process is personality. In the closely related to emotional activities is the extroversion personality. Extraversion, adaptability and emotional-behavioral disorders are closely related. The different level of extroversion have differences in the perception of pressure, introverted sensing or emotional instability of experience in the face of life events tended to adopt the avoidance withdrawal negative coping style, this kind of behavior are more likely to lead to interpersonal sensitivity and depression and anxiety level increased, prone to high social anxiety. Outgoing and cheerful personality traits, self-efficacy is strong, in the problem solving condition this kinds of personality traits are good at using adjustment cognition, emotion and behavior way to adapt to the environment, can reduce the occurrence of social anxiety. AS we enter the University, the individual not only entered the stage of higher education have gradually entered the society, with high levels of social anxiety in individuals talk with classmates or teachers, feel nervous and awkward, more than the average person in a social situation may feel distress and embarrassment, will further lead to social rejection, for the individual in the university life, learning and development is extremely unfavorable.So far, educators and researchers pay more attention to college students' focus on academic achievement and employment rate, less attention on the social development research, few studies pay attention to the influence of individual differences on social anxiety, and extravert as an important individual difference variables affect social anxiety mechanism. The previous research on social anxiety causes much attention in the area of social skills, self-evaluation, self-esteem, Self-Concept-Schemata and Perception-of-others-Schemata. In the past, more attention was paid to the relationship between emotion regulation ability, subjective well-being, parental rearing pattern and decision making. In the study of the cognitive reappraisal and expression suppression on social anxiety, previous studies have focused on the youth groups, which are less concerned about college students' groups. The study of the effect of extroversion, cognitive reappraisal and expression suppression on social anxiety also needs further study. Personality is in the position of the higher level of the individual psychological system, it is more general, and the effect of personality on social anxiety is likely to be regulated by the emotion regulation strategy. Through the further analysis of the influence factors of social anxiety, the analysis of the mechanism of action is to provide effective basis for the situation to improve the social anxiety of college students.Method:extroversion and social anxiety level were studied, and cognitive reappraisal and expression suppression role on the relationship between extravert and social anxiety. This study adopts Eysenck Personality Questionnaire-Revised, short Scale for Chinese, Emotion Regulation Questionnaire, Interaction Anxious Scale, survey of four grades of a university in Xi'an. The total number of 758 students, There are some conclusions through some the statistics ways such as variance analysis, Pearson correlation analysis, regression analysis and constructing structural equation model by using Spss17.0 and Amos17.0:(1) Overall university students' extraversion, cognitive reappraisal, expression suppression and social anxiety in a normal condition.(2) University students' social anxiety were significant differences in origin of students, whether only child or not and whether class committee or not.(3) University students' extraversion were significant differences in gender, origin of students, whether class committee or not and whether only child or not.(4) University students' use of expression suppression were significant differences in gender, origin of students, whether class committee or not and whether only child or not. The use of cognitive reappraisal strategy was significant differences in whether class committee or not.(5) Social anxiety was negatively correlated with the extraversion; Cognitive reappraisal strategy was positively correlated with extraversion, and expression suppression was negatively correlated with extraversion; In addition, cognitive reappraisal strategy was negatively correlated with social anxiety, expression suppression was positively correlated with social anxiety.(6) Expression suppression had a partially intermediary effect between extraversion and social anxiety.By this study it can be concluded that:research tested extraversion, cognitive reappraisal, expression suppression's effect on social anxiety. Extraversion is higher, the lower the lever of individual social anxiety. The use of expression suppression strategy in emotion regulation had partial intermediary effect between extraversion and social anxiety. To improve the condition of students' social anxiety should develop and increase students' perceive of personality and choose the cognitive reappraisal strategy and expression suppression strategy.
