City Literary writers to experience city life, based on depicting the various elements of urban culture literature. In the first half of the twentieth century, the ancient city of China has entered into the modernization gradually. Meanwhile, the flouring former capital has gradually vanished among the modernization process, thus presenting a strong contrast between the present and the past. Based on this, there has been a batch of literary works written relating to the ancient memory in modern prose. Following the tradition of ancient city note, some works show the characteristics of unique"Menghua style", some of these works strengthen the emotional express of "Tao An Mengyi",then turn it to "Mengyi style" feature of narrative and lyric in the modern essays. "Menghua" emphasizes the objective record of the geography and local customs in ancient capitals, while the "Mengyi" more focus on the self emotional expression of the main body in the memory of ancient capitals. The two emotional forms and literary styles rooted in the same fountain,but show the difference in the same,all of them are generated in the creation of the common system of modern writers.
