The Study On The Sentences With Ba In Songzi Dialect

This paper takes the sentences with ba in Songzi dialect as our study object,focused on two main kinds of sentences with ba:disposal constructions and passive constructions.But they play different roles,the disposal constructions are priority,and the passive ones have many restrictions in sentence accomplishment.The vicinity of the two conceptions disposal and passive in concept space and different routes of grammaticalization makes that this two kinds of constructions can use the same marker ba.Ba is the only and irreplaceable disposal marker in Songzi dialect,but in the system of passive markers,it plays a minor role,coexisting with the main passive marker zen.Mandarin usage of ba and the request of avoiding ambiguous expressions also play a part.So the function of ba being the disposal and passive marker is imbalanced.The dissertation is divided into 5 chapters:In Chapter 1,a brief introduction of Songzi and Songzi dialect is the first part of this dissertation.The reason and the object of the research,the previous research results and the study methods will also be introduced in this part.In Chapter 2,three kinds of disposal constructions and two kinds of passive constructions with ba in Songzi dialect will be described.In Chapter 3,disposal and passive constructions with ba will be compared in the angle of syntactic feature,semantic feature and contextual restriction.In Chapter 4,the theory of Grammaticalization and Semantic Map will be used to explain the coexistence and imbalance of the two kinds of constructions.Finally,a conclusion of this dissertation will be made.Besides,the value of this paper,the deficiencies and the further study directions will be pointed out.
