Analysis Of Long Difficult Sentences Interpreting Skills In Consecutive Interpreting

Company is everywhere in our life. Under the influence of the globalization, it is powerful enough to shake the whole world. Therefore, human beings must pay more attention to the influence of the company and rethink it. The main purpose of this report is to provide the research material of company for the whole world, in order to seek the road of development of company and to trigger the deep thinking about how the company will influence the world in the future. This report is based on the author's interpreting practice experience, with the purpose to sum up the interpreting skills which can be applied to this kind of program suitably. Meanwhile, the author hopes to provide certain reference for the people who are interested in interpreting the same kind of subjects.This report consists of three parts: introduction, main body and conclusion.The first part is the introduction. In this part, the research status, realistic significance, application value of this chosen content are mentioned, and the problems which will be solved in the interpreting process are discussed.The second part is the main body which consists of three chapters: Chapter One is task description. In this chapter, the author firstly introduces the characteristics of long difficult sentences. Then, the author illustrates the interpretive theory which can be applied to this interpreting practice very well. Finally, the chosen content and basic qualities required in the consecutive interpretation are introduced. Chapter Two is process description, in which the collection of background material, the understanding of background knowledge and the preparation of the vocabulary are presented. The interpreting process and several points which should be noted in quality control are also introduced here. Chapter Three is the key part of this report which discusses several ways of resolving the problems that will be easily encountered by interpreters when interpreting the long difficult sentences. They are the use of pauses in syntactic linearity,the use of information equivalence and simplification skills.The last part is the conclusion which summarizes the whole report. The purpose of writing this paper is to seek the breakthrough in solving the same kind of problems and improve the interpreting quality.
