Chinese Small stage performing arts is an important form of performing arts in modern society,it has displayed marketization trend in recent two decades development.Small stage performing arts is a common form of acting in the acting industry,and its form of performance has distinct spirits of exploration and innovation.It has experienced a tough and rugged development.At the end of 20th century,as the reform and opening-up process went deeper,people had a more significant requirement for spiritual culture when pursuing material life.At the same time,the small stage performing arts developed quickly in this trend,and merged with commerce under the marketization trend,thus it derived a new culture phenomenon.This paper focuses on the question of "industrial operation of small stage performing arts.Through investigation and study on the small stage performing arts industry in second-tier cites of China(mainly in Hangzhou and Nanchang),it states several kinds of disadvantages and restrictions of small stage performing arts in second-tier cites of China,under the background of market segmentation.Combined the types and characteristics of small stage performing arts,the author sums up the questions in three aspects:insufficient excellent original works,lack of Operation management specialists and immature industry chain.Based on current trend of market development,the author proposes relevant improving strategies for its disadvantages.First,the scope of excellent original works should be broadened.Marketing shall be well considered throughout the whole process of creating the works,starting with improving the quality and raising the quantity of the original works.Hence,outstanding original works that correspond to the local culture and aesthetic value of local audience,thus receive great responses from the local audience will be created to benefit more individuals;Second,we should enhance the management and operation mode of small stage performing arts industry,targeting at combining the small stage performing arts with management and operation to realize its marketization and industrialization.To be operated as a pattern of industry is the finally effective marketing-oriented way for Small stage performing arts;third,Improving the production chain of Small Stage Performing Arts make reasonable plans of works and time,increase efficiency and service quality;besides,make better market segmentation,specify the changes in aesthetic orientation of audiences;finally,take full advantage of advanced media platform under the new media atmosphere,makes systematically and comprehensive broadcasts and sales.In a word,the industrial operations of small stage performing arts should systematically optimize the internal and external resources,firmly combine the repertoire performance with society and audiences,and make it move towards a broader road of industrialization in the end.
