Research On Interpretation And Education In The U.S. National Park

With the building of National Parks system to actively promote in China,it also means that we need to carry out the work about the building of National Parks system from multiple angles and many aspects in the future.It is the U.S.that the world's first National park owner,the history of development of National Parks nearly 150 years.It has a successful and rich experience about the management and operation of National Parks.Interpretation and education are important communication ways between the U.S.National Park and visitors.Interpretation and education are very vital to management policies of the U.S.National Park.With the growth and development of the U.S.National Park,interpretation and education are improving.It is great significance for us that research the interpretation and education in the U.S.National Park.The paper uses interpretation and education in the U.S.National Park as the research object and uses the Olympic National Park as the case study.First of all,combing through a large amount of information about interpretation and education in the U.S.National Park,we found out its purpose,contents and methods,planning,employee settings and evaluation.Based on the summary of the relevant literature,we tried to clarify the development about interpretation and education in the U.S.National Park.The Secondly,a case study of the Olympic National Park has been analyzed,the contents on the implementation of interpretation and education in the U.S.National Park and the successful experience.In addition,using the methods of grounded theory,coding and summarizing the interpretive contents of Olympic National Park newspapers,finally gives some multidimensional categories about interpretive contents.In the end,we found out three core categories of the interpretive contents of Olympic National Park newspapers which mainly consist of human,National Park,connection between human and National Park.The following inspiration are drawn through comprehensive analysis: set up a special institution for interpretation and education,strict planning of interpretation services and educational programs,scientific representation of contents of interpretation and education,cooperate with multilateral partnership,strengthen staff training and widespread publicity of community.
