Research On Pottery At The First Site Of Xinglonggou Site In Aohan Banner, Inner Mongolia

The first site of Xinglonggou site is a site of Xinglongwa culture period with single cultural connotation.The house site,ash pit and tomb are the main sites in the site.As one of the most unearthed relics,pottery contains important cultural information.The combination of pot and bowl is the main combination of pottery.It is helpful to further study the function of pottery by combining the shape,size and unearthed position of pottery.According to the types of pottery,the number of medium-sized pottery jars is the largest,which should be widely used in life and can be obtained by most people.From the perspective of pattern,nearly two-thirds of the intact pottery in the first site of Xinglonggou site is provided with a ridge of clay around the neck,and the main pattern in the abdomen is mainly horizontal belt grid pattern and short diagonal cross pattern.The pottery in this site has the typical characteristics of a ridge of clay around the neck,three-stage pattern and barrel jar,which can be determined that the site belongs to Xinglongwa culture.The Xinglongwa culture plays an important role in the development sequence of the prehistoric culture in the west of Liaoning Province.On the whole,as an important symbol of prehistoric culture in the west of Liaoning Province,these cultural elements such as zigzag pattern and barrel shaped jar have a profound impact on the cultural connotation in the west of Liaoning Province.Based on the analysis of stable isotopes ? 13 C and? 15 N of human bone in the first site of Xinglonggou site,C4 plants such as foxtail millet and broomcorn millet were used as staple food in this site,while meat was an important part.The economy of fishing and hunting should be an important part of the economy of production in the first site of Xinglonggou site.From the perspective of Paleopathology,the typesof production tools and the distribution and concentration of relics,it is indicated that the production economy in this period belongs to the mixed economy of fishing and hunting.
