The Research Of Unearthed Pottery In Baiyinchanghan Site

As one of great important sites, Baiyinchanghan which is abundant in unearthedremains culture, almost covers down the whole Neolithic archaeological culture inLiaoxi region. It attracted broad attention of academic circles from discovery andbecame focus of discussion at Neolithic culture of Liaoxi region. Therefore, it is animportant and foundational work studying Neolithic archaeological culture in Liaoxiregion and requirements carrying out cultural studies and relative studies to make sureperiods of unearthed remains about this site.Mainly through organizing materials published in 《Baiyinchanghan——Archaeological Excavation Reports on the Neolithic Ancient Site》，this article isgoing to restage the Baiyinchangan site, change five periods in original reports to sixperiods and classify cultural properties each period to Xiaohexi Culture, NantiaziCulture, Xinglongwa Culture, Zhaobaogou Culture, Hongshan Culture and XiaoheyanCulture. However, Nantaizi Culture will be known as an independent archaeologicalculture in this article because it is usually deemed to a local type or an early stage ofXinglonggui Culture in former research. In the end, according to culture distributionof this site in each period, I will discuss questions about site and edge.
