On "Elite Consciousness" Of Xueheng School

Since our country into modern times,the fierce collision between tradition and modernity,east and west provides rich resources and vast space for the prosperity of ideology and culture.This has also become the background of modern ideological and academic diversified development.Cultural conservatism is in opposition to the mainstream——cultural radicalism.“Xueheng school” as one of cultural conservatism,their ideology of the “elite consciousness” is particularly special in advocating democracy and revolution,westernize and innovation of modern times.“Elite consciousness” is a kind of ideological trend of pursuing “elite” quality,it is also a kind of value orientation of the “Xueheng school” of excellence in academic and ethics.This thesis study on their view of literature,education and social development in order to summarize the “elite consciousness” of“Xueheng school”.Though the study of the connection between the time background,Chinese traditional thought and values,“Xueheng school” group and the new humanism,it can be summed up the three root causes of “elite consciousness”: the spirits of the traditional gentry,the new humanism and the reversal of populism.“Xueheng school” of “elite consciousness” is produced in the interaction between internal and external.Although the “elite consciousness” of “Xueheng school” has not caused extensive social influence,it still has far-reaching significance.Through exploring the interaction between the “elite consciousness” of“Xueheng school” and the traditional Confucianism,it draws the influence of it on the moral cultivation in traditional Confucianism.At the same time,“elite consciousness” pay attention to the construction of social moral order,and the attitude of the “elite consciousness” to the elites,it is partly meaningful to the exploration and construction of democratic politics and democratic life in China today.
