Ethical Introspectionof The Food Safety Problems In China

Hunger breeds discontentmentto food security for the first.Food safety related closelyto people's life and health,is the important issues of the national economy and people's livelihood.But in recent years,from the melamine scandal to Sudan red,from cooking oil to poison bean sprouts,as these food safety incident was exposed constantly,more and more people are aware of food safety in our country go wrong with a lot of problems.These events may cause serious damage to the public health,a direct impact on the social harmony and stability.At present,the legal and administrative means is two kinds of methods to solve the problem of food safety in our country,but only by the two methods can't achieve the goal of completely solving the problem of food safety,legal constraints on people is limited after all,if you want to make people from the heart really food boycott,the problem of mechanism or through social ethics constraint on people's behavior.Law is the external heteronomy,morality is the internal self-discipline.To maintain food safety,only from the aspect of laws and regulations on the emphasis is not enough,the safety of the products of the enterprise should be from the moral norms.In order to better safeguard food security,enterprise,government and consumers are takingtheir own responsibility.To make the food safety problems can be better solved,study is very necessary,from the perspective of ethics can supplement with the current legal policy research,this article from the perspective of ethics,this paper discusses the problems in food safety ethics,ethical reflection on the food safety in our country from three perspectives combined with enterprise,government and consumers.In the food production enterprises,a lack of corporate social responsibility,in good faith consciousness is not strong and so on the phenomenon of enterprise ethics;In government,thereis a distortion of the administrative values,responsibility consciousness,paid attention to only part of the staff ethics anomie behavior such as selfish;Among consumers,there is a utilitarian color serious,lack of moral doctrine color,consumption ethics and behavior is not uniform ethical reasons.Through the analysis of China's food safety problems in four aspects about how to solve the problem of food safety are proposed,namely to strengthen food production enterprise morality construction,strengthen the government responsibility and accountability for food safety,enhance consumer awareness of food safety and supervision,strengthen social media supervision of food safety.
