The fairy tale writer Kenji Miyazawa is known as "Japan's Hans Christian Andersen",he truthfully presented the meaning of life by his fairy tale in his short life.Because his every fairy tale has the extremely profound connotation,also his fairy tales is described as "adult fairy tale".Through all kinds of animals and plants,he showed us a colorful world,which is extremely unusual animal in the Japanese idea,the cat is endowed with more aspects and rich in meaning.In the seven fairy tales of the image on the cat by Kenji Miyazawa,through the cat's act and word,we can learn the Japanese society and the ideological trait of Japanese at that time.Through the analysis of the image of the cat in these works,the author found that after the Meiji restoration which is the historic big changes at this time,the Japanese are receptive to new ideas and fuse some inherent in traditional thought at the same time,as a result they produced some unique and t aberrant thought,such as group consciousness,disgrace consciousness,militarism,etc.From ancient times to the present,there have a Profound and complex relationship between China and Japan.It is necessary that Chinese to know neighboring residents' thought.From the Meiji Restoration which break the Tokugawa Shogunate and establish the foundation of the modern state and capitalism of the second half of 19 th century up to now,the Japanese life,behavior and thought are all led to a dramatic changes,Internal development capitalism,External development colonial expansion.All those things brought an indelible impact to the Japanese and other countries people.The Japanese live in a sophisticated society in such an extreme way,by this way we can see the unique characteristic of thought.Only if we learn and explore that the Japanese behaviors and behind behaviors to reflect on profound meanings,in the future we will be able to take reasonable diplomatic measures with Japan and guide the virtuous developmental relationship better between China and Japan.This article is divided into six parts: the first part is the introduction,mainly introduced the Kenji Miyazawa's life and creation,the research status of Kenji Miyazawa,as well as the purpose and significance of this article;The first chapter mainly combed the Japanese cat's cultural history from the source,legends,literature,etc,and briefly analyzed the image of the cat of Kenji Miyazawa's seven fairy tale works from two aspects of the bobcats and house cats;The second chapter discusses the Japanese's group consciousness through A Restaurant in a Wide Range of Requirements and Cat Office,which cats in these two fairy tale reflects,mainly analyses Japanese groups within the hierarchy and there are other characteristics inside and outside;The third chapter discusses the Japanese sense of shame through Gauche the Cellist,The Acorn and Lynx,A Restaurant in a Wide Range of Requirements,Cat Office,Kun Mouse,which cats in these five fairy tale reflects.And analyzes the Japanese in the sense of shame sanctions under the theoretical view,inferiority and the conceit of ambivalence,and the sense of shame over evil;The fourth chapter discusses the spirit of Japan via Spiders,Slugs and Leopard Cat,A Restaurant in a Wide Range of Requirements,Kun Mouse,which cats in these four fairy tale reflects the soul,mainly including the Shinto,bushido spirit,etc;The last part is the conclusion,this paper expound for Japan,Chinese should hold what kind of attitude.All in all,by means of the image of cat which from the seven fairy tale works by Japanese writer Kenji Miyazawa,we can get through the views such as group consciousness,sense of shame,Shinto,the Bushido spirit to understand the Japanese character and some social problems in the modern period,such as internal bullying,shame and evil,exclusivity,the demagogic lies,etc.I hope we can be able to understand the Japanese better by means of these problems,what we learned from this article make us more rational when we communicate with Japanese so that we can prevent a repeat of the painful history.
