As a famous Japanese poet and writer of fairy tales,Kenji Miyazawa's works can be divided into five periods:(1)the student days;(2)the days in Tokyo;(3)the days work as teacher;(4)the days in Rasuchijin Society;(5)the days in sickbed.So far,there have been numerous studies on the fairy tales of Kenji Miyazawa,but there has been no research on the use of comma in the fairy tales of Kenji Miyazawa.Based on the classification criteria of the parts of speech and their sub categories of Chinese and Japanese scholars,this paper studied the use of commas in 21 fairy tales written by Kenji Miyazawa in different periods,and adopted the methods of literature research,quantitative and qualitative analysis and comparative analysis to investigate the use of commas in his works at various times in detail.The conclusions of this paper are as follows.1?The use of comma in the works of Kenji Miyazawa in different periods had both unchanged part and the changed part.Among them,the unchanged part:first,the auxiliary word usage rate is the highest,the unchanged part is the most,a total of 6.Next,the noun,auxiliary verb,verb,interjection,adverb,pronoun,adjective in the unchanged part,except interjection has 4,the other 6 categories are all 2.In the end,the continuation words,shape words,suffix words,supplementary symbols are all 1 in the unchanged part.The changed part:First,on the whole,the specific parts of speech(symbol)before comma has a changing part.Secondly,in each of the five periods,there are more than 4 parts with changes,which are 8 in the student days,5 in the days in Tokyo,4 in the the days work as teacher,6 in the days in Rosuchijin society,and 5 in the days in sickbed.2?The use of commas in Kenji Miyazawa's works in different periods of was common,and the unchanged part showed that the use of commas in the works of the writer was relatively stable.There were differences in the use of commas in Kenji Miyazawa's works at different times.The changed part reflected that the use of commas in the writer's works in different periods was not completely consistent,and characterized different periods.
