A Contrastive Study On HSK Test Syllabus Vocabulary Of Version 2009 And 2015

With the constant development of the international Chinese teaching practice,the vocabularies included in the HSK outline is changing synchronously,which shows that a large number of new words have been produced and some of the old words have been removed.Taking the HSK outlines of the 2009 version and the 2015 version as research materials,this paper uses the method of quantitative analysis to calculate and analyze the similarities and differences between the two versions.And it also summarizes the word types,topics of the new and removed words and discusses the primary reason.According to the statistical analysis results,it has been discoverd that the vocabulary outline of the 2015 version basically follows the screening rules and most of the are not only closely related to our current lives,but also new words freguently used by people.Despite of its advantages,it also has some disadvantages as well as developing points.It is the unclearness of basis of adding and deleting cultural words and ignorance of the word frequency that where the disadvantage lies on.And the developing points are that it can further the expansion of the quantity of cultural words included according to the principle of frequency-calculating and expert association.Finally,this paper evaluates the difficulty of the new words for the students of the International Education Department of Sichuan Normal University,counts the difficult words by stages and tries to further the discussion about relevant teaching strategies to the difficule words which student feel hard to learn.This thesis aims at providing relatively reliable and adequate data resource for vocabulary-teaching and providing favorable reference data for future HSK vocabulary outline adjustments.
