Chinese contemporary art has been developed since 1985.In the context of globalization,there are more and more frequent exchanges between countries,whether it takes initiative to communicate with others or is passively affected by western culture.With the continuous development of Chinese contemporary art,there are a number of artists who made impacts on the global art community.However,it is found that the watercolor artists haven't played a significant role in contemporary Chinese art?Despite the influence of Chinese contemporary watercolor art,through analyzing the development process of contemporary Chinese watercolor painting,it is found that watercolor has its own characteristics and advantages.Although the watercolor painting and oil painting are imported things,Chinese watercolor has inherited the characteristics of traditional watercolor painting and added some China brushwork painting,so it is rich in the language of art.But at the same time,it is found that the diversity of watercolor development is incomplete.Considering from the creation of the theme,through the contemporary watercolor art exhibition,it is known that there are a number of themes repeat,and the watercolor works is not perfect in the performance of contemporaneity.Objectively speaking,there isn't much economic,political,cultural,and all the changes in life in watercolor works.Although these changes have taken place over the years,efforts should be made to make watercolor art integrate into the modern market and present a more diversified attitude.Therefore,in this article,the author tries to consider the Chinese contemporary art environment,explores how to promote the diversified development of contemporary watercolor Chinese from art education,art criticism based on the understanding of the advantages and disadvantages of the development of contemporary Chinese watercolor.
