Taste words is an important part of modern Chinese vocabulary system,although the amount is not much,but can be widely used in all kinds of works,in addition to the basic taste words meaning as we know,it also contains a variety of meanings and metaphorical meaning.This paper studies the theory of the lexicologist,based on the use of a large number of Uighur corpus of two languages in the sense of taste words and syntactic function of cognitive metaphor ability of deep comparative analysis.Starting from the translation of five basic taste words: sour,sweet,bitter,spicy and salty,this paper explores the basic situation and research methods of Chinese taste words in terms of semantics,word formation,culture and cognition.This paper consists of four parts: the first part explains the significance of this topic,research ideas and methods and the research status of Chinese taste words.The second part mainly carries on the definition and classification of this kind of word of Uygur and Chinese taste,the basic taste words "(acid),(sweet),(bitter),(hot),(Xian)" were analyzed and a detailed study of word formation way of dimension five basic Chinese taste words of different meanings and different language environment in the dictionary;third,the fourth part is the core part of this dissertation,the main translation methods and skills of basic taste words of the Uighur and Chinese.From the cognitive and cultural aspects of the analysis,comparison,find out the differences between the basic taste words in two languages the cultural meaning and metaphor meaning in contrast in the process of analysis,a special mode of thinking of people of different nationalities in history and formed their own language The fifth part is the conclusion,mainly to summarize the research content,and then clear the theme of the thesis and research results.In this paper,the Uighur and Chinese taste words as the research object,the translation between different languages through the study of the similarities and differences between Uygur and Han always taste words in the two languages of the inquiry allows people to see different national way of thinking and cognitive process behind the words.The root of food culture difference,vocabulary difference and cognitive meaning difference are obtained.A clear understanding of the basic taste words between two languages,to our understanding of the semantic expression more profound,to a proper extent can be realized,the accuracy of translation.
