A Study On The Belife In Hainan Jiale

The methods of literature consultation,specialists interview and investigation were adopted in this paper. A anthropological fieldwork ,in a large area of Hainan ChengMai and a long period of time,was conducted.By the information of this fieldwork ,I study the folk belief of this area.Analyzed the history of Jiale Junpo Festival,including its'origin,development,and a thick description of Junpo Festival.Within a background of the modernization and globalization, the significance of folk beliefs in contemporary society is what will be discussed.The first part is the introduction,illustrates the causes and significance of this study.Literature review and research methods are included.The second part is the introduction to "social and historical background, see the social conditions of the folk beliefs and its background.The third part is a depth description of Jiale Junpo festival ceremony process .The fourth part is the cultural reflection on the Jiale Junpo Festival.The fifth part is the summary of the full text, and comprehensive full text on the folk beliefs .Nowadays,is a modern society,we should pay attention to the role of folk religion in public life.Now, Hainan is trying to be a international tourism island ,and want to correct this festival culture, but we must slow down and be more careful. To avoid making it become a kind of tourism projects with no foundation of tradition.The folk beliefs reflect the psychological demands of the people, strive to make reasonable inherit and carry forward the cultural tradition.
