Wang Shu(1668-1739)is a famous calligrapher in Qing dynasty.Wang Shu made great achievements in Calligraphy:on the one hand,in the practice of calligraphy,Wang Shu copying ancient post countless,including each fonts;on the other hand,in thetheory of calligraphy,Wang Shu has left quite a lot of works.This paper mainly studies Wang Shu's calligraph'y and his circle of friends.Through the collation of relevant literature chart data,research Wang Shu's circle of friends and his influence.Wang Shu and his friends learn calligraphy together,play out,such social activities promote Wang Shu's calligraphy.This paper analyse Wang Shu's achievements and influence in calligraphy.Firstly,Wang Shu's seal learns from Li Si and Li Yangbing,and Shi Gu Wen and Zhao Mengfu as well.Secondly,Wang Shu's li calligraphy learns from Li Qi Bei,Shi Chen Be and some others.Thirdly,Wang Shu's regular script learns from Ou Yangxun,Chu Suiliang ande some others.Fourthly,Wang Shu's xing calligraphy learns from Lan Ting Xu,Huai Ren Ji Sheng Jiao Xu and Mi Fu.Fifthly,Wang Shu cursive learning focuses on Wang Xizhi Shi Qi Tie,Ge Tie and Sun Guoting Shu Pu.Wang Shu's practice of calligraphy and calligraphy theory influence many calligraphers at that time and later,Wang Shu plays an important role in promoting the development of the history of Chinese calligraphy.
