In recent years,more and more foreign students have come to china to study Chinese,which makes Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language(TCFL)a popular subject.However,foreign students find it difficult to improve their Chinese writing due to a lack of proper courses.In some places,the practice of integrating Chinese writing course into comprehensive Chinese course poses great barriers for students to enhance their writing skills.The thesis mainly deals with the problems that students know nothing about accumulating materials and that the compositions are too boring to read.The author combines the former experience in TCFL with questionnaire and conclude that the teaching of Chinese writing should follow certain procedure,from selecting words,polishing sentences to different ways of narrating.
