The Chinese character is a form of ideographic system,the relationship between its unique shape and the connection of sound and meaning has always been discouraged the learners.Moreover,it is a really great difficulty in teaching and learning because there are a lot of polyphonic words in Chinese.The paper combines with the International Curriculum for Chinese Language Education,which comes out to sort out,describe and analyze Chinese polyphonic words,explores the relationship between the sound and the Chinese characters,and puts forward the corresponding countermeasures which aims to Chinese character teaching,and learning.This paper introduces the research background and significance,makes a brief exposition of the research on the ontology and the teaching of polyphonic words,and explains the research contents and methods of this paper.In the first chapter,according to the definition of polyphonic words in modern Chinese,it combined with the practice of teaching Chinese as a foreign language to determine the research object and scope of the polyphonic words.In the second chapter,the statistics and analysis of the polyphonic words in the common Chinese characters and common Chinese vocabulary are summarized that there are 130 polyphonic words commonly used in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.And describes the sound of these polyphonic words,summed up the rules between the sounds.In the third chapter,it classifies the polyphonic words in the outline and explores the relationship between the sound items,the nouns of the polyphonic words,the relationship between the various items.The polyphonic words in the Curriculum are divided into polyphonic synonyms,near righteousness words,and spelling words.The paper describes and analyzes part of the polyphonic words.In the fourth chapter,according to the research of the phonological and notation of the polyphonic words,it combines the ability of the polyphonic words and the frequency of communication,this paper puts forward several practicing and teachingmethods.At the end of this paper,the author summarizes the main points of this paper,put forward the shortcomings of the research and the prospect of Chinese teaching and research.
