Nithard's Histories mainly records 840-843 years Caroline Empire between Louis the Pious' three sons: the eldest son Lothair, the second son Louis the German, and Charles the Bald for the imperial territory and the rule of the war. This article is based on the Nithard's Histories of the text, mainly in the following two areas:First,it mainly discusses the political tendency of Histories. In the CarolingianEmpire, the historical works of the Carolingian were contaminated with strong subjective and political prejudices due to the support and influence of the royal family of the Caroline royal family and the solid control of the monarchy for the church. This book inevitably has some prejudice against other parties,Lothair and Louis the German, and this chapter has sorted out the contents of these prejudices, and with the same period of this time,The Annals of St.Bertin of the Charles the Bald camp and the The Annals of Fulda of the Lothair, and the biographies of the Louis the Pious.Second, the discussion of the Histories in the latter part of the narrative content changes,Louis the Pious and Charles the bald is the Histories' first half of the narrative center, but this situation changed in the second half of the work.Beginning with the third volume,Nithard gradually began to deviate from the narrative theme, and in the preface to show "pessimistic" emotions, the contents of the subject matter related to the weather on the real life of the various omen, their own family situation and the Germanman Louis the German and Charles the Bald ‘s army in 842 after the meeting of the soldiers to carry out the war game and many other trivial events, many of the content and Charles the Bald has nothing to do,the problem is far away. The paper combs the content of this change and discusses why Nithard's change is made.
