Rejection Sensitivity is the individual shows anxious expectation,preparation of perceptionoverreaction tendency.This is a rejection by the early experience as a result of personality tendency,and this tendency can be defined as a defense or protection system for individual responses to social threats.Interpretation bias is a kind of tendency to make a positive or negative interpretation when the individual is in the face of ambiguous information.Ambiguous social information refers to the information that can be interpreted as either positive or neutral sense and as negative or threat significance as well in social activities.Interpretation bias is a kind of cognitive biases and according to the time dimension of individuals' understanding of information,the researchers divided it into off-line interpretation bias and on-line interpretation bias.Although people have gradually realized that investigating individual's off-line interpretation bias and on-line interpretation bias at the same time can be further understanding the cognitive model of specific group,the research of this aspect is still relatively deficient.This research adopts the questionnaire of college students' rejection sensitivity measure 300 students of university and the students is selected randomly.And then selecting randomly 50 undergraduates that score 27% of high-end and low-end 27% as experimental subjects.This research adopts the "textual material paradigm" and adapted "vocabulary connection paradigm",to study the different rejection sensitivity of college students on off-line interpretation bias and on-line interpretation bias in ambiguous social information.According to the two experiments,finally this study draw the following conclusions:(1)compared with low rejection sensitive college students,high rejection sensitive college students' negative evaluation is higher and positive evaluation is lower in the ambiguous social situation.(2)To improve college students' higher rejection sensitivity,should not only pay attention to revise and reduce their negative interpretation,but also increase their positive interpretation.(3)In the initial stage of cognitive processing,high and low rejection sensitive college students' immediate interpretation of negative and positive are activated in the ambiguous social situation,and there is no significant difference between the two groups.(4)In delay meaning selection stage of the cognitive processing,high rejection sensitive college students in the ambiguous situation show negative instant interpretation bias,and suppresses the generation of positive interpretation at the same time.Low rejection sensitive college students in the ambiguous social situation show positive instant interpretation bias,and suppresses the generation of negative interpretation at the same time.
