A Study Of The Topics In Yanjing Fuyu

Yanjing Fuyu is a Chinese language textbook published in Japan in the Late Qing Dynasty.The topics of this textbook is various and interesting,and it is a record of Beijing dialect and Beijing folk custom.The content and the way of compilation of topics in Yanjing Fuyu is obviously reflected that this textbook is written for women.Yanjing Fuyu as the object of this study,the content and the compilation of topics in it is researched with a viewpoint of compilation of textbook.And we hope that the value of Yanjing Fuyu as a Chinese language textbook could be dug out and the references about today's compilation of Chinese language textbook could also be provided by this paper.This paper can be divided into five parts.The first part introduces the background and the significance of this study.The history of Chinese language education in Japan and the research status about topics in Chinese language textbook as well as Yanjing Fuyu is sorted out and analyzed.And it is useful to understand the development history of Chinese language education in modern Japan and the compilation background of Yanjing Fuyu.Besides,the research status about topics in Chinese language textbook provided a new angle for researches on Yanjing Fuyu.The second part gives an introduction to the style,the writer and the process of writing Yanjing Fuyu.The Chinese language education in Meiji is in an important period that Southern Mandarin was transferring to Northern Mandarin.In this period,a large number of Chinese language textbooks were published because of the diplomatic policy in Japan including Yanjing Fuyu.And Yanjing Fuyu is focuses on Japanese women who plan to live in China so that the content of Yanjing Fuyu contains all aspects of Banner women' s life.And Yanjing Fuyu has two volumes consisted of 226 pages.The third part is a study of topics in Yanjing Fuyu.The topics of it are presented and 39 topics are divided into five aspects according to their function: daily life,social communication,language and culture,hot issue as well as customs and taboos.And the content and the way of compilation is researched from pertinence,contemporaneity,enjoyment and scientificity.In addition,the ethics,values and folk-customs of Qing Dynasty is discussed.The forth part gives the references about selection and compilation of topics for today's Chinese language textbook by concluding the research results.And the innovative point of this paper is that the pertinence of Yanjing Fuyu gives a good reference for the compilation of specialized Chinese language textbook deficient currently.The last part is the summary and reflection of this study and expectation about good results of Yanjing Fuyu and other Chinese language textbooks compiled overseas.
