The Collection And The Sorting Of Characters Of The Ba-Shu Area(Part One)

Extant document including Records of Huoyang State,The Classic of Mountains and Seas,History of the kings of Shu,record the history of the ancient Ba-Shu area.Thesedocument are mostly myths and legends,which are unconvincing.After liberation,with the developing of archaeclofical work,we found a great deal of sites and graves in Sichuan,Chongqing and so on.This discovery deeply enriched the archaeclogical materials.These unearials of pre-chin period are more reliable than the ectant documents.The artifacts of the ancient Ba-Shu area were excovated in these sites and graves.There are intricate inscriptions cawing in the artifacts,which were used by the people of ancient Ba-Shu area.Character is the symbol to record language,it is the comier of cultuer.The character material will have a lasting influence om the understanding of the Ba-Shu area's history.On the basis of collecting and consulting the archaelogical report,the book that published by museum,the sharing of net friends in ShengShi Collection,the old book and the research of scholars.1 collected more than 720 artifacts which was unearthed in the ancient Ba-Shu area.The paper includes four part:The first part is "introduction",I briefly introduced the history of ancient Ba-Shu area,territorial scope;and the arrangement and analysis of general situation in Ba-Shu literal material.The second part is "the study of Ba-Shu characters".This part divided three pieces:the first piece summarized the research of the properly and classification to Ba-Shu characters;The second piece introduces the direction issues of Ba-Shu Aa characters;The third piece is the research of Ba-Shu's stamps,we used the means of analysising frequently arised characters and the characters that have already confirmed the direction to ascertain the Ba-Shu stamps' proper placing position;The forth part is the collecting annotations of the important characters in Ba-Shu area including a spear which have the maximum characters(TM108),TG42,YZ080.The fifth piece introduces a special dagger-axe,named "Ji zi ge"The sixth piece is Ba-Shu Han character dagger-axe,including the excavated dagger-axe.The third part is "data processing".The first piece classify four parts:Bronze weapons,Household wares,producing tools,stamps;The second piece id sorted according to initial;The third piece is sorted according to the excavated sites.The forth part is "appendix",introducing the information of the second part's content,including:implement number,the excavated site,dimensions,era,current collection(source),additional information,text categorization.Implement number is the serial number for the fungible name of implement.The excavated sites is different,same sites are districts(town,village).The part of dimension doesn't introduce the length of each part,only introduce the dimension of integral implements."Era"mainly takes the advice of archaeological reporters,some confirm the era according to some scholars' research,current collection sites(collector)labels unknown,the description of the inscription,the articles of artifacts' research didn't record clearly.Additional information is the characters in the implements,and the false cases of recording books;Han character materials supplement transcriptions.
