Comparing with stereotype,meta-stereotype impacts on intergroup relationship more profound and more durable.With the further research on the area of meta-perception,research objects have involved in different social classes,for example,the floating children and trailing children.In this research,middle schoolers in single-parent family and complete family will be as the research object,to explore two types of groups of meta-stereotype?stereotype and self-stereotype,and the correlation between the intergroup relation,and design the group counseling to improve intergroup relation which is of certain practical significance.In order to know the content of meta-stereotype?stereotype and self-stereotype,I made up questionnaire in the first part of study.We can find middle schoolers in complete family and single-parent family that meta-stereotype?stereotype and self-stereotype are positive,meta-stereotype of in-group is more negative than stereotype of out-group.Meta-stereotype and self-stereotype is higher consistency,and the stereotype.In the second part of study,I analyzed the relationship among the participants,demographic variables?meta-stereotype?stereotype and self-stereotype and exploring the relationship with the intergroup relation.At last,I established and verified relevant models.Their intergroup attitude,cognitive and interest are positive,but middle schoolers incomplete family,s are more active than that single-parent family children.Hypothesis model are established in this study and comparing two kinds of intergroup relation structure model,found that middle schoolers in single-parent family,s meta-stereotype has a stronger effect on intergroup relationship.In the third part of study,we can find through group counseling can effectively improve middle schoolers in single-parent family,s intergroup relationships.
