production and lifestyle and aesthetic level in Dongting Lake area have undergone dramatic changes.The Inheritance of Cultural Heritage of Folk Song in Dongting Lake Area is facing a severe test,and heritage continuing live heritage.Through the field visits to study and access to relevant books and materials,this article introduces the classification and artistic characteristics of the existing folk songs in the lake area,and summarizes the status quo of the cultural heritage of the folk songs in the lake area.Finally,from the government-led,campus heritage,to create the three aspects of folk songs industry,it explore a way to achieve the lake folk culture continuing live heritage mechanism of effective mechanism.Based on the special geographical position and humanistic environment of the Dongting Lake area,this paper introduces the origin of the rich folk resources in the lake area,classifies the cultural heritage of folk songs in the lake area and discusses its inseparable connection with the production and life style of the lake area.The paper made a detailed and detailed investigation and study on the existing folk songs and the main successor of the lake area in the
