The emotional intelligence of middle school students is developing,and it plays an important role in the development of life.Parenting style is an important family factor,which plays a key role in the mental health of middle school students.This paper adopts the method of questionnaire survey was carried out on the Experimental Middle School of Tianjin City 347 middle school students,using the revised Yue Dongmei "EMBU and Wang Caikang" revised "emotional intelligence scale",the related research between parenting styles and emotional intelligence,and makes a comparison in gender and grade and draw the following conclusions:1.Middle school students' parental rearing patterns tend to be emotional warmth and understanding of parents and their parents' punishment and severity.There are significant gender differences in the understanding of their parents' emotional warmth,parents' severe punishment,and mother's preference.In particular,boys' parents were more severely punished,while girls' parents had a higher degree of emotional warmth and mother preference.In the aspect of grade,grade 1 and grade 2 were significantly higher than those in the first grade and the second grade in the father's severe punishment,the father's preference for the subject,and the mother's preference.2.The emotional intelligence of middle school students is in the middle level.In terms of gender differences in emotional intelligence,there are significant differences between boys and girls in emotional perception and emotional factors.In emotional perception,emotional intelligence scores on three grades were significantly different,first and second grades was significantly higher than that of the first grade;and in the use of emotion,there are significant differences in grade one and only the first grade,the first grade was significantly higher than that of the first grade.3.Middle school students of the father's emotional warmth factor,mother's emotional warmth and understanding factor has a significant positive correlation with each factor and the total score of emotional intelligence;mother preference test factor and understanding emotional factors have a significant positive correlation;the father of the severe punishment factor and emotional intelligence of each factor and total scores had significant negative correlation with the mother's severe punishment factor;the factor of emotional intelligence has significant negative correlation;the father refused to deny,father's overprotection factor with the factor of emotional perception factors have significant negative correlation;mother's denial factor and emotion perception factor,emotion regulation factor there was a significant negative correlation.4.Regression analysis showed that father's warmth and understanding,father's over interfrence,ather refused to deny all enter the regression equation has significant predictive effect on middle school students' emotional intelligence and parenting style have significant predictive effect on emotional intelligence of middle school students.
