With the continuous advancement of quality education,people's attention to adolescent mental health diathesis are also growing.Emotional Intelligence is an integral part of adolescent mental health diathesis.Among the many factors affecting emotional intelligence,family factors are undoubtedly playing a vital role.Therefore,in order to enrich the influence mechanism of family factors on adolescent emotional intelligence,this study selected three main factors from many family factors that affect adolescent emotional intelligence,including parents' emotional intelligence,parenting style and family environment and focused on studying the influence mechanism of parents' emotional intelligence,parenting style and family environment on adolescent emotional intelligence,providing theoretical guidance for family education.This study investigated the emotional intelligence,family environment of junior middle school students and their parents' emotional intelligence and parenting style in three middle schools in Guangzhou using the Emotional Intelligence Scale,the Chinese version of the Simple Parenting Styles Questionnaire,and the Family Environment Scale.This study used SPSS17.0,Mplus 7,structural equation modeling and other methods for data analysis,and obtained the following conclusions:(1)The mother refusing has a significant moderated mediation effect between the emotional intelligence of the mother and emotional intelligence of junior middle school students,and the father's emotional intelligence plays a moderate role in the relationship between the mother refusing and the emotional intelligence of junior middle school students,which means that the mother's emotional intelligence can not only directly affect the emotional intelligence of junior middle school students but also affect the emotional intelligence of junior middle school students indirectly by affecting the mother refusing.The higher the level of father's emotional intelligence,the stronger the negative prediction of mother refusing to junior middle school students' emotional intelligence.(2)Mother's emotional warmth and the family environment have a significant mediating effect between mother's emotional intelligence and junior middle school students' emotionalintelligence.Specifically,the mother's emotional intelligence can affect junior middle school students' emotional intelligence indirectly by affecting the emotional warmth of the mother.The mediating effect accounts for 41.88% of the total effect.It can also indirectly influence junior middle school students' emotional intelligence through affecting the emotional warmth of the mother and the family environment.The mediating effect accounts for 5.85% of the total effect.The mediating effect of the former is significantly greater than that of the latter.(3)Fathers' emotional warmth and family environment have significant mediator effects between father's emotional intelligence and junior middle school students' emotional intelligence.Specifically,father's emotional intelligence can affect junior middle school students' emotional intelligence indirectly by affecting the emotional warmth of fathers.The mediating effect accounts for 40.75% of the total effect.It can also indirectly influence junior middle school students' emotional intelligence through affecting the emotional warmth of the father and the family environment.The mediating effect accounts for 8.68% of the total effect.The mediating effect of the former is significantly greater than that of the latter.(4)There are significant differences between the indirect effect of parent's emotional intelligence on junior middle school students' emotional intelligence respectively,but the direct effect of father's emotional intelligence on junior middle school students' emotional intelligence is not significantly different from that of mother's emotional intelligence.Specifically,the indirect effect of mother's emotional intelligence on junior middle school students' emotional intelligence through emotional warmth is significantly higher than that of father's emotional intelligence through the emotional warmth.The mediating effect of the two accounts for 29.79% and 9.31% of the total effect,respectively.Based on the above results,this study finds that the mechanism of parents' emotional intelligence on junior middle school students' emotional intelligence mainly includes three aspects.Firstly,parents' emotional intelligence can directly affects junior middle school students' emotional intelligence.Secondly,parents' emotional intelligence can affect junior middle school students' emotional intelligence by affecting emotional warmth.Thirdly,parents' emotional intelligence can affect the emotional warmth and family environment,and ultimately affect junior middle school students' emotional intelligence.There is no significant difference in the direct effect of emotional intelligence between the parents on junior middleschool students' emotional intelligence.The effect of mother's emotional intelligence on junior middle school students' emotional intelligence by emotional warmth is significantly higher than that of father's emotional intelligence.Therefore,in the family education,in order to improve junior middle school students' emotional intelligence,parents need to focus on improving their emotional intelligence.At the same time,they should also use more positive parenting styles such as emotional warmth,and avoid the use of negative parenting style such as refusal and overprotective,improving family environment.
